1. Shipping
1.1 Service Area
We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, APO/FPO/DPO military addresses, and U.S. territories (where carrier service is available). International shipping is not yet offered.
1.2 Flat Rate
A flat rate shipping fee of $6.95 applies to every order shipped anywhere within the United States, regardless of weight or the number of items, unless a product page or promotion explicitly states otherwise.
1.3 Processing Times

In‑stock (non pre-sell) items: Typically ship within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays) after your order and payment are confirmed.

Peak periods / promotions: Please allow an extra 1–2 business days during high‑volume times (e.g., major holidays).
1.4 Pre‑Sell (Pre‑Order) Items
Items labeled “Pre‑Sell” or “Pre‑Order” ship 7–10 business days after the official pre‑sell period ends. If your order includes both in‑stock and pre‑sell items, the entire order may be held to ship together for efficiency. If you prefer separate shipments, please place separate orders (each order will incur its own flat shipping fee of $6.95).
1.5 Shipment Confirmation & Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation containing tracking information. Tracking data may take up to 48 hours to populate after carrier pickup.
1.6 Delivery Estimates & Delays
Transit time depends on the carrier and destination. Weather, carrier network constraints, or other unforeseen events may extend delivery times. FamilyGiftShack is not liable for delays outside our control once a package is in carrier possession.
1.7 Address Accuracy
Please verify your shipping address carefully. We cannot redirect packages once shipped. Orders returned to us due to an incorrect or undeliverable address can be re‑shipped after we receive the parcel and collect the additional flat rate fee.
1.8 Damaged or Missing Packages
If your order arrives damaged or appears lost:

Photograph any external box damage and product damage (retain all packaging).

Contact us within 5 calendar days of confirmed delivery or of the last tracking update if the package is stalled.

We will assist with a carrier claim and provide next steps (replacement, store credit, or refund) depending on product availability and claim outcome.
2. Returns & Exchanges
2.1 General Return Window
New, non‑personalized, non‑customized products may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund of the product price, provided they are in original, unused, resellable condition with all original packaging and tags.
2.2 Non‑Returnable Items

Clearance and/or Yard Sale items – Sold “as‑is” and final sale; no returns, refunds, or exchanges.

Personalized or customized items – Final sale once produced. (If we made an error in personalization, contact us so we can correct or replace it.)

Items showing signs of wear, damage, alteration, or not in original condition.
2.3 Return Authorization & Procedure

Email us (or use the site contact form) with your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason.

We will issue return instructions. (We may provide an RMA/reference number—please include it inside the package.)

Carefully pack the item to prevent transit damage.

For standard returns (i.e., not due to our error), return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. We recommend a trackable method; we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.
2.4 Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original form of payment once the return is received and inspected.

Please allow 3–5 business days after our receipt for inspection and processing, plus your bank/issuer’s standard posting time (which may add another 3–10 business days).

Original outbound shipping of $6.95 is refundable only if the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, verified defect, or personalization mistake caused by us).
2.5 Exchanges
To ensure fastest service, place a new order for the desired replacement item and return the original eligible item for a refund per Section 2.4.
2.6 Defective, Incorrect, or Personalization Error
Contact us within 7 calendar days of delivery with photos and a description. After verification, we will (at our discretion) repair, replace, or refund the item, including reasonable return shipping where applicable.
2.7 Restocking Fees
We do not charge restocking fees on eligible returns meeting the criteria in Section 2.1.
3. Cancellations & Order Changes

In‑stock orders: May be cancelled or modified only until we generate a shipping label. Contact us promptly.

Pre‑sell orders: Can usually be cancelled during the pre‑sell period; once production allocation or fulfillment begins, cancellation may no longer be possible.
4. Gift Returns
If you received a gift purchased from FamilyGiftShack.com and wish to return an eligible item, we can issue store credit to you or refund the original purchaser (per their preference and verification of the order).

6. Policy Updates
We may update this Shipping & Returns Policy periodically. Changes take effect upon posting to this page with a revised effective date. Material changes will apply to orders placed after the new effective date.
